About the CoreHealth Wellness Platform
CoreHealth is a wellness technology platform used by employers, insurers, benefits providers and wellness organizations to deliver engaging, personalized wellness experiences. Your organization may offer the platform under its own name or brand, and the features available to you may vary based on its program configuration.
Depending on your program, features may include:

- Coaching programs aligned with individual health goals
- Educational health and wellbeing content

How CoreHealth Connects with Google Health
Google Health provides a permission-based way for health and fitness applications on your Android device to share data.
When you choose to connect CoreHealth:
- Your Android device displays the health-data permissions CoreHealth is requesting.
- You choose which requested permissions to grant.
- Google Health makes the authorized data available to CoreHealth.
- CoreHealth imports and uses that data to provide the wellness features available through your program.
CoreHealth can only access the Google Health data categories you authorize. You can review or revoke those permissions through the Google Health settings on your Android device.
Why CoreHealth Requests Your Data
CoreHealth requests access only to data needed to provide the connected wellness features available through your program.

Using Fitbit with Google Health
If you currently connect Fitbit data to your wellness platform, you may be asked to reconnect or re-authorize access through Google Health. Fitbit controls which information it makes available to Google Health. CoreHealth can access only the supported data categories that are available through Google Health and that you authorize.
Follow the instructions presented in your wellness platform and on your Android device to complete the connection.
How Your Google Health Data is Used
Authorized Google Health data may be used to:
- Display activity and sleep information in your wellness experience
- Track progress toward personal goals
- Record eligible activity within challenges
- Support wellness scores or progress indicators
- Provide insights and recommendations based on your activity, sleep and lifestyle information
Your Google Health data is used to provide and improve these platform features. It is not used to serve advertising. Depending on how your organization has configured its wellness program, authorized administrators may have access to certain individual activity or platform-use information. Access is controlled through platform permissions and the agreements between CoreHealth and the organization providing your access.
You Control the Connection
Connecting Google Health is optional. If you do not grant access, features that depend on synced activity or sleep data may not be available or may require manual entry.
You can:
- Choose which requested data permissions to grant
- Review your existing Google Health permissions
- Revoke CoreHealth’s access at any time through your Android device settings
Revoking permission stops CoreHealth from receiving new information through Google Health. Data previously imported into the platform is handled according to the CoreHealth Privacy Policy and the instructions of the organization providing your access.
